1. Registration and User Account: To suggest a cause or interact with certain features, you must create an account. You must provide true, complete, and up-to-date information. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their password and for all activities carried out under their account.
2. Suggesting Causes: Only registered users can create new causes. By suggesting a cause, you guarantee that all information and images are true and that the portal can use them for disclosure related to the cause. The portal reserves the right to refuse or remove causes it deems inappropriate or illegal.
3. Donations: Donations made through PortalTransmontano – Together for the Land are entirely voluntary and irrevocable after payment confirmation. The portal is not responsible for failures, delays, or problems in the transfer of donations, including those arising from banking issues of the user who proposes the cause or the donor. All risk associated with the transaction is the sole responsibility of the user.
4. Privacy and Data: We collect data only for platform operation, account management, and donation processing. We commit not to sell or share personal data without user consent.
5. Use of the Portal: The user agrees not to use the portal for illegal, fraudulent purposes or to interfere with the platform. Any violation may lead to account suspension.
6. Intellectual Property: All content on the portal, including texts, images, and logos, is the property of Portal Transmontano or its licensors. No material may be reproduced without authorization.
7. Limitation of Liability: The portal does not guarantee that the website will be free of errors or interruptions and is not responsible for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the portal, causes, or donations.
8. Changes to Terms: The portal may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Applicable Law: These Terms are governed by Portuguese law and any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Portugal.
